A Father instructing his children to always tell the Truth

I was having a conversation that no parent wants to have with their child: How many times do you get spankings? Every parent should know this information without having to ask a child these questions, just imagine how hard it would be as a kid to answer back: 3 times a week, and I can sit down……but it hurts, because I have bruises. When you catch your kids lying to you about where these spankings take place and how many, it hurts your heart. Why would a child need to lie about spankings? When they are not just spankings, when they are beatings that leave bruises. When the people beating you make you lie about how often and how many. My son has been telling me for 4 years that this has been taking place.
